One of the MUST if you want to have a complete idea of Rome and its History. Rome wouldn't be Rome without the presence of the Papacy.

Nowadays Vatican is a totaly independent country within the territory of Rome and it's the smallest and one of the richest country in the whole world and it's hosting some of the most precious pieces of art such as Sistine Chapel painted by the great Michelangelo and Raphael's rooms painted by Raphael himself.

From the Sistine Chapel we will use a short cut (available just for the guided tours) in order to reach the most important catholic church in the world: Saint Peter's Basilica.
